Aref Damee is an artist who was born in Afghanistan and currently lives and works in Arnhem (NL). He studied at the art academies of St. Petersburg (RU) and Amsterdam.
His work is a reflection on everyday life and the things that happen in the world. His work is therefore oftentopical, but he can also dream away at a beautiful landscape.
This summer we have a retrospective exhibition of his oeuvre in Museumpark Orientalis at the Greek house of the park. The exhibition can be viewed until 1 September 2020.
On Saturday 15 August 2020 the opening ceremony will take place at 15:00.
(Please note the location is about 30 minutes walk from the entrance, transportation is available for people with mobilityproblems).
